| Ok, so i just realized that I am horrible at this. I knew I was bad... but now I realize that I am horrible. I'm thinking maybe it will be my goal to do like a weekly post... who knows.
I have had some funny things go on lately. First off and certainly the most fresh in my memory... I just got back from the movies with Lee and Mel. I decided I would get there early and read some before I met up with them. So I am sitting there in my car, it is rainy and my windows are kinda foggy but I'm sitting there reading. I look up when I see a car pulling in. It is a black Nissan Sentra. Sweet, that is my brothers car. I was backed into a spot and the car as soon as it got to me, stopped and backed in right next to me. Just a brief reminder, my windows still are a little foggy so it is hard to see, but not too hard that I could not make out what car was pulling in next to me. So the car parks right next to me. Their passenger side door next to my driver side door... inches apart. I open my door, step out bend over to the passenger sear door and wave... to my utter amazement the girl, who I thought would be mel, was a dark haired girl.. Mel has Blonde hair... I looked over at the driver... nope not my brother. SOOOOO.... that is the moment in which I realized... I have just accomplished my first stupid moment (Ok... maybe it was my second... who is keeping track)
So yeah, there is story one. Next story: I was driving home today from school. It is once again... rainy. I come around a turn and there is this red Lumina pulling out into the right hand lane. I was in the left hand lane going maybe 35 tops. Speed limit is 35. Ok, so everything is great, I'm just a normal law abiding citizen (this time). The lady looks as if she is trying to turn... or maybe she is cutting into my lane... or going straight?! Ok, bottom line is... I couldn't figure out where she was trying to go... but wherever it was she was not getting there fast. So I start slowing down fast... and then I have to slam the breaks cause she was half in my lane trying to make the turn into the right lane (I'm still in the left lane). So I slam the breaks... go sliding and while I am sliding I look over and try to figure out why in the world was she having such a difficult time trying to turn... well... the reason was cause she was having to do little increments at a time because her gut was getting in the way of her being able to get her hand between her belly and the wheel. So, yeah... moral of the story... uh... I can't put it politely so I just wont put it at all... but you get the point.
Ok... enough of this, I have to get back to reading... yeah it's actually not greek this time! Booyah! | | |
| Alright, so I have missed a couple days of "blogging". But there really isn't too much that I have done so I think I can cover it all pretty fast in one post.
Well, Greek exam was yesterday. So I've spent the past few days studying for it. I get to the class for the test, he hands it out and... in all honesty it was not half as bad as I expected. I think the prof had some kindness in his heart or he pitied us. Either way, I am happy for it, cause I think I did pretty descent on the exam.
So I get done with my exam, come home and I'm thinking to myself.... "Self, what do you want to do since you don't have Greek to mess with for the time being?" SO I answered myself and said, "Well Marshall", (that's my alter ego... has nothing to do with the fact that I watched a movie with a guy and an alter ego with that name last night... ok maybe it does) either way, is said, "Well Marshall, let's make ourselves some food. Cause I don't know about you, but I am starving!" So, I started looking through the fridge and saw some chicken in there and I decided that I would grill it and then it happened... I smelt it and it smelt pretty funky. So I checked the date and come to find out, it expired like 2 weeks ago... woopsy daisy!
So that was pretty disheartening... but then I remembered I had some Mahi Mahi in the freezer and I had yet to cook any of it.... so I did the logical thing and I started thawing that sucker! Thawed it out and grilled it/baked it. Actually turned out pretty well I thought. So that was my new experience for yesterday.
Last night rolled around and my bro, his fiance and I went to waterstone to eat supper. Which by the way... I think that is my new favorite spot to eat. I am actually going there again tonight with a guy from work so it'll be good times.
So now... on to today... other than waterstone... I think all that I really have planned to do is read for one of my New Testament Backgrounds class. At least it is not greek. That is how I'm looking at it. By the way, this book that I am going to start reading... well kind of a funny story behind it. So last week I start reading the book called "Marriage and Divorce in the Church" I get probably about 40% done with the book and start talking to my professor about it... come to find out I had the wrong book... yeah... awesome I know. The right book is called, "Divorce and remarriage in Bible" Man, I was so close... but evidently so far off. I looked over the chapter titles of the two... they seem very similar... but nope, I have to read the one that is twice as long as the one I first started... oh well.
So... there it is, the post for the past couple days. Here is a thought to chew on for a little bit...

| So I am currently sitting in the library and am supposed to be studying for my New Testament backgrounds midterm that is tomorrow. But then I realized that it has been quite a few days since I updated and if this is going to be a successful blog then I must maintain consistency with my posts.
